Registration

The on-line registration is now closed. However if you would like to attend the event, you can register onsite at the following rates:

Delegate fee: EUR 550
Student fee: EUR 550
Accompanying person’s fee: EUR 120
Conference dinner:  EUR 75
 
Payments onsite only by credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Eurocard.

Registration at the Conference venue is possible on Tuesday, 9 February at 16.00-17.30, and through the Conference days on Wednesday and Thursday 10-11 Feb at 8.30-17.00 and 12 Feb at 9.00-12.00.

The registration fee for active participants includes:
• Admission to the scientific sessions
• Book of Abstracts
• Refreshments during breaks
• Daily lunches 
• The Helsinki City Receptiony on Wednesday 10 February 2010 (NB! Limited to 150 persons)

The registration fee for accompanying persons includes:
• The Helsinki City Reception on Wednesday 10 February 2010 (NB! Limited to 150 persons)
• Helsinki City tour
• NOTE: It does not include admission to the scientific programme

Not included:
Insurance is not included in the registration fee
• Conference dinner at Restaurant Sipuli

 

Payment and confirmation

All payments (registration fees, hotel deposits, and dinner) should be made in advance in euro (EUR) when registering and making reservations. After receiving your registration form and payment, Stellaria Media will send you a personal letter of confirmation by e-mail (look for a message titled "Confirmation of Registration and Accommodation / Better Work and Well-being 2010 Helsinki".

NB! If you have made the payment and not received the confirmation message, check your e-mail filters.

  • Credit card: Visa, MasterCard, and Eurocard are accepted. NB! Detailed information will be available on the registration form.
  • Bank transfer to the account of Stellaria Media Oy /Congress Account.

NOTE!
• Invoices will be sent only on request. The invoicing charge is EUR 10.
• All payments should be free of bank handling charges.
• Bank drafts, personal, traveller or company cheques are not accepted.

 

Registration at the Conference venue

Registration will take place in the conference floor at Hotel Crowne Plaza. The registration desk will be open for participants Tuesday, 9 February 2010 at 16.00-17.30, and on all the conference days.

 

Cancellation and refund policy

Registration fees and hotel deposit:

  • Cancellations received by 10 November 2009:  full refund minus an administrative fee of EUR 50. 
  • Cancellations received between 11 November 2009 and 11 January 2010: 50 % refund of the registration fees, minus an administrative fee of EUR 50.
  • Cancellations received after 11 January 2010: no refund

NOTE!

  • There is no refund for registration or hotel deposit in case of no-shows.
  • There is no extra fee if a cancelling participant’s registration is transferred to a colleague from the same organization.
  • All cancellations and/or changes in registration and accommodation must be made in writing.
  • Remember to take a print out of your registration form before submitting the form.

Weather

In Finland winter is coldest in January and February. Temperature in Helsinki region varies between – 15 Celcius and + 5 Celcius degrees. Please see detailed information at Foreca or Finnish Meteorological Institute.
