Accommodation
Delegates should make their hotel reservation in advance on the Conference registration form. TAVI Congress Bureau will take care of the hotel reservation for the delegates according to their registration. To guarantee your hotel reservation, a deposit of one night’s room rate is required to be paid in advance together with the registration fees. The deposit will be forwarded to the hotel and it will be deducted from your final hotel bill when checking out. If you must cancel your reservation, please refer to the cancellation and refund policy. All prices are per room per night, including breakfast and VAT.
Scandic Grand Marina
Scandic Grand Marina is located right next to Marina Congress Center close to the sea and nearby Market square. It is about 20 minutes walk from the hotel to Helsinki city centre.

Cumulus Kaisaniemi
Cumulus Kaisaniemi is a cosy hotel, located in the heart of Helsinki near Railway station, about 15–20 minutes walking distance from the Marina Congress Center. Bus transportation between Hotel Cumulus Kaisaniemi and Marina Congress Center will be arranged during the Conference. There is also a convenient tram route operating from the city centre to near the Congress Center.

Hotel Arthur
Hotel Arthur is located in the Helsinki city centre close to the Railway station, about 15–20 minutes walk from the Marina Congress Center. Bus transportation between Hotel Arthur and Marina Congress Center will be arranged during the Conference. Cancellation and refund policy
Kindly note that all cancellations and/or changes to registration and accommodation must be made in writing to TAVI Congress Bureau by email: euronanosh@tavicon.fi or by fax: +358 3 233 0444.
If cancellation for the participation and/or hotel reservation is received before 1 October 2007, the registration fee will be refunded with the exception of EUR 50 for handling fee and/or the deposit will be refunded except EUR 5 for handling fee. If cancellation is received after 1 October 2007, no refund will be made. There is no refund of registration or hotel deposit in the case of no-show. There is no extra fee if a delegate’s cancelled registration is transferred to a colleague from the same organization.
Lunches
On conference days lunch will be served at the Marina Congress Center Restaurant. Lunches (á EUR 18) should be reserved on the Conference registration form, and paid together with the registration fees.
Transportation
Bus transportation from Hotel Arthur and Hotel Cumulus Kaisaniemi to the Marina Congress Center and vice versa will be arranged in the mornings, and in the afternoons after the last session. In addition, bus transportation to/ from the Conference dinner will be arranged.
Temperature
The winter season begins in November or early-December, when temperatures vary either side of 0°C. The average temperature between December and February is around -4°C. It is recommended to take warm clothes and footwear with you, as the weather can be variable and cold that time of year.
