Participants should register using the online registration form (NB! On-line registration is closed from 25 Aug, but registration is still possible on-site in Paasitorni). All reservations, such as lunches, hotel, dinner, whether or not their price is included in the fee, should be made on the same registration form. Kindly make sure that you receive a reference number for your registration via e-mail. If you have any questions concerning the registration form or procedure, please contact the TAVI Congress Bureau at nanoeh2009 (at) tavicon.fi or call +358 3 233 0400 (Finnish office hours 08.30–16.30, UTC+2).
NB! Free communicators need to register and pay the reguired fee at once. Please see the letter of acceptance by email, and reminders from Secretary (at) tavicon.fi.

After 2 June 2009 the cost of educational sessions is EUR 75 /session.
The conference fees include VAT 0%.
Delegate and student fees include:
• Admission to scientific sessions
• Conference material
• Refreshments during breaks, and lunches on 27–29 August 2009
• Welcome drinks and Helsinki city reception
• Conference services at the venue
Educational session fee includes:
• Admission to the selected session/-s
• Possible lecture material
• Lunch box during the afternoon break on 26 August 2009
Accompanying person’s fee includes:
• Welcome drinks and Helsinki city reception
• Helsinki City sightseeing
• NOTE! This does not include admission to the scientific programme nor to lunches or refreshments at the Conference venue
Please note that lunches must be reserved on the registration form before the Conference, even though they are included in the delegate fee.
Please also note that the costs for travel, accommodation, insurance, the Conference dinner and the Suomenlinna visit are not included in the fees.
Payment and confirmation
All payments (registration fees, hotel deposit and possible social programme fees) should be made in advance in euros (EUR) when you register. When registering online, you will receive confirmation and your personal reference number within 15 minutes by e-mail.

Please use the participant’s reference number when making the bank transfer.
The reference number will be shown on the automatic e-mail reply that you receive after successfully submitting the registration form online. Credit card payments will be dealt with automatically.
Note!
• All payments should be free of bank handling charges.
• Bank drafts as well as personal, travellers’ or company cheques cannot be accepted.
• Invoices will be sent by request only, in which case a supplement of EUR 7.50 will be added.
• Kindly mark the details for your invoice request in the ‘Other Special Information’ field on the online registration form.
The TAVI Congress Bureau will confirm participation upon receiving registration and payment. No participation confirmation letters will be sent before all payments (including the hotel deposit and social programme) have been received.
Certificate of attendance
A letter certifying your attendance and signed by the chairperson of the Conference Organizing Committee will be available upon request after the Conference. Please, check with the Conference Secretariat during the Conference.
Kindly note that all cancellations and/or changes to registration and accommodation must be made by e-mail to the TAVI Congress Bureau: nanoeh2009 (at) tavicon.fi or by fax: +358 3 233 0444. If cancellation regarding participation and/or the hotel reservation is received before 3 July 2009, the registration fee will be refunded, with the exception of a handling fee of EUR 50, and/or the hotel deposit will be refunded minus a EUR 10 handling fee. No refunds can be made for cancellations received after 3 July 2009. In the case of no-show, there will be no refund of registration or hotel deposit. There is no extra fee if a delegate’s registration is transferred to a colleague from the same organization.
Delegates should indicate their hotel reservation in advance on the conference registration form. The TAVI Congress Bureau will then take care of hotel reservations for delegates. To guarantee your hotel reservation, a deposit of one night’s room rate is required in advance together with the registration fee. The deposit will be forwarded to the hotel and will be deducted from your final bill when checking out. If you must cancel your reservation, please refer to the cancellation and refund policy. All prices are per room per night, including breakfast and VAT.
NB! The UEFA Womens's EURO (Football cup) 2009 is in Helsinki on 23 Aug to 10 Sept, and therefore it is advisable to reserve your accommodation as early as possible. Due to the EURO 2009 the hotels are almost fully booked and room prices are rising.

Useimmat suomalaiset yliopistot myöntävät asiantuntijakokoukseen osallistumisesta, ja esim. esityksen pitämisestä, opintopisteitä. Opiskelijoita pyydetään varmistamaan omasta opintopaikastaan miten NanOEH2009-konferenssin osallistuminen korvaa oman yliopiston opintoja. Järjestäjien on ollut mahdollista hakea etukäteen yleishyväksyntä seuraavista yliopistoista/tiedekunnista:
1) Kuopion yliopiston lääketieteellinen tiedekunta on hyväksynyt NanOEH2009 -konferenssin osaksi erikoislääkärikoulutuksen teoreettista kurssimuotoista koulutusta (10 tuntia: patologia, syöpätaudit, työterveyshuolto). Päätös KY 12/2009; 28.1.2009.
2) Turun yliopiston lääketieteellinen tiedekunta on hyväksynyt NanOEH2009-konferenssin osalta erikoslääkärikoulutuksen teoreettiseksi kurssimuotoiseksi koulutukseksi 20 tunnin koulutuspistein patologian ja syöpätautien erikoisaloilla sekä 26 tunnin koulutuspistein terveydenhuollon ja työterveyshuollon erikoisaloille. Päätös 26.2.2009.
3) Helsingin yliopiston lääketieteellinen tiedekunta on hyväksynyt NanOEH2009-konferenssin osaksi erikoislääkärien teoreettista kurssimuotoista koulutusta seuraavasti: patologia (20), syöpatuadit (20), terveydenhuolto (20), työterveyshuolto (14). Päätös HY09/111, 10.3.2009.
