10th EUROPEAN SEMINAR ON PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT, held in Saariselkä, Finland 26 - 28 January 2010.
The first day of the PPE seminar features expert speakers on the situation in the PPE sector and issues related to the revision of the PPE Directive.
On the second day, expert speakers' issues related to the selection and use of the PPE. Participants had an opportunity to attend workshops on issues related to future development and the selection and use of the PPE.
The topics for the workshops were:
1. Innovations, lifetime, performance and physiological indicators
2. Training requirements for sales persons and users
3. Practical performance and requirements in real situations.
This seminar provided a unique forum to disseminate findings in the PPE field, and provided the opportunity for speakers and participants to exchange experiences and participate in debate.
