WELL-BEING AT WORK IS A JOINT EFFORT
Welcome to the Conference
The Finnish Institute of Occupational Health invites you to attend the International Conference "Towards Better Work and Well-being" to be arranged on 10-12 February 2010 in Helsinki, Finland. The aim of the Conference is to provide an opportunity to discuss strategies and tools for the promotion of health and well-being at the workplace as well as their links to productivity. Our aim is also to take a glance at and discuss the good practices, methods and tools, and service systems currently available for workplaces in different countries. The overall long-term objective is to improve health, safety, and well-being at workplaces. In this Conference, the concept of well-being comprises health, safety, psychosocial and work environmental domains.
The programme is designed to offer many opportunities to learn how different actors in the occupational health and safety field from different countries and regions are approaching health and safety promotion at workplaces. In addition, the programme will address the latest developments in promoting well-being at workplaces. The Conference will provide a forum for presenting and demonstrating findings, methods, tools, and approaches to health, safety, and well-being at workplaces. The plenary and free communication sessions will all be designed to facilitate your interaction both with other participants and presenters.
We anticipate an exciting and productive conference in February 2010, and look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
