Biomonitoring

Measuring the occupational chemical exposures from biological samples takes into consideration all routes of exposure: exposure from air, skin and through digestive system. Biomonitoring makes it possible to find out effectiveness of protection on personal level.  Development of occupational disease can be prevented by early interventions. Accredited results of reliable quality serve an extensive clientele of employees, workplaces, occupational health services and authorities.

By using the right research methods at the right time, and comparing the results with Finnish reference material, we can ascertain the true extent of worker exposure. The interpretation of these findings enables the long-term development of occupational health and safety, and makes early action against chemical problems at the workplace possible. Instructions and interpretation of results are essential parts of our service, and the results make risk assessment in workplaces easier. Our biomonitoring services are fully accredited (testing laboratory TO13).
