AIMS OF THE PROJECT
- To solve problems related to recruitment, know-how and learning in companies that employ 2-70 persons
- To produce practical solutions to how companies can take advantage of new and more productive recruitment practices and models to develop know-how and learning
- To enhance the profitability, productivity and wellbeing in the participating companies.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND OUTCOMES OF THE PROJECT
Practical solutions to reach the aims of the project will be developed through pilot companies. Key actions include group development workshops that are based on the following modules: recruitment routes and tools, employee ambassadors, career ladder and development of know-how, and renewability abilities. The selected tools and methods for these pilot companies will be evaluated and analyzed based on their effect on companies’ practices and conventions. Companies will also get organization-specific coaching.
The information about the project will be disseminated by video clips where “SME Ambassadors” selected amongst the pilot companies share their experience about development. Blogs that are written throughout the project by both developers and pilot companies are put together as “Blog book”. Project will also produce a measurement tool for organisational resilience which can be used to support development in SMEs.
The project is conducted between 1 March 2017 and 31 December 2019.
The project is conducted in collaboration with JAMK University of Applied Sciences, Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, Lappeenranta University of Technology and participating companies.
