The Finnish Institute of Occupational Health is initiating change negotiations with a particular aim to improve the profitability of its business units

The Finnish Institute of Occupational Health has sent its personnel representatives an invitation to change negotiations. According to preliminary estimates, the changes can result in the end of a maximum of 21 employment relationships.

Employees working in the Work Environment Laboratories unit in Helsinki and Kuopio and the personnel using laboratory infrastructure for research purposes at the Helsinki Occupational Safety unit are subject to the negotiations.

Operational changes and the related personnel decrease need are discussed in the negotiations. The negotiations will continue for at least six weeks and conclude on 28 March 2024, at the earliest.
