Vision Zero Forum – Network empowering development

The Vision Zero Forum is a network of workplaces aimed at motivating and encouraging workplaces to strive towards a high level of occupational safety and well-being at work.

Learn more about the Forum

The Vision Zero Forum is Finland’s most important network for continuous improvement of occupational safety. The forum disseminates information, best practices, ideas and materials to help workplaces.

Each workplace, regardless of its initial level of occupational safety, sector or size can join the Vision Zero Forum.

Our activities are based on the Vision Zero for safety, health, and well-being. This refers to a long-term commitment and a positive attitude toward the development of work, safety, health, and well-being at work. Our values are openness, learning together and encouraging each other.

We do this work in many ways:

  • We promote a positive safety culture.
  • We communicate the latest information on occupational safety trends.
  • We disseminate comparative data and best practices.
  • We produce tools and materials for success at work.
  • We offer a national and regional member network.

The Forum started its work in 2003, and it has a steering group consisting of representatives of its member companies. The activities are coordinated by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.

What does membership offer?

Vision Zero Forum membership benefits:

  • The opportunity to network and learn from others
  • Regional network meetings, monthly webinars
  • Material for promoting occupational safety and well-being at work
  • Annual occupational safety level classifications and comparative data
  • Membership discounts on seminars and training courses

Joining the Forum

The Vision Zero Forum offers good support for our company’s development-oriented occupational safety work by providing useful material and contacts. For example, we have found the monthly webinars on interesting topics, regional networking activities that help us learn about others’ safety work, and online safety materials very useful. I can recommend the Nollis® forum as a way of supporting the development of your company’s safety culture.
